Spackman Entertainment Group’s Upcoming Film, CRAZY ROMANCE, Produced By Zip Cinema, Completes Filming And Set To Release In Korea In 2019

SINGAPORE - Media OutReach - 20 March 2019 - Spackman Entertainment Group Limited ("Spackman Entertainment Group" or the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"), one of Korea's leading entertainment production groups founded by media investor Charles Spackman, wishes to announce that its upcoming movie CRAZY ROMANCE has completed filming and is presently in the post-production stage.


CRAZY ROMANCE is scheduled to be screened in theatres in Korea in 2019. The movie is produced by the Group's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Zip Cinema Co., Ltd. ("Zip Cinema"), and presented and distributed by Next World Entertainment Co., Ltd.


Headlined by Kim Rae-won of DOCTORS (2016) & MY LITTLE BRIDE (2004) and Gong Hyojin of DON'T DARE TO DREAM (2016) & CRUSH AND BLUSH (2008), CRAZY ROMANCE is Zip Cinema's major film following its Korean financial crisis movie, DEFAULT, which recorded the highest November opening in the Korean box office. The film raked in more than 3.7 million tickets and grossed more than US$27 million at the Korean box office.


CRAZY ROMANCE is the first commercial film made by independent film director Kim Han-gyeol. It also marks 16 years since Kim Rae-won and Gong Hyo-jin last collaborated in Korean drama SNOWMAN.

Our films are theatrically distributed and released in Korea and overseas markets, as well as for subsequent post-theatrical worldwide release in other forms of media, including cable TV, broadcast TV, IPTV, video-on-demand, and home video/DVD, etc. We release all of our motion pictures into wide-theatrical exhibition initially in Korea, and then in overseas and ancillary markets.
